Project Summary
Our Toronto team successfully completed a scaffold access project designed to support the window replacement project the Centre for Adult Learning School in Toronto, ON. The restoration project involved six bay windows situated at the rooftop level of the building. The project was phased due to help accommodate for winter weather conditions, with the West elevation having been completed in late 2023 and the East elevation recently installed in June, 2024.
The project presented a few minor challenges, including limited space for crew and material access which required the craning of materials onto the roof. Our team engineered a solution involving five separate scaffold towers, each equipped with ladder access and working decks on three levels. Each tower stands 18 feet high on top of a 9-story building, requiring precise craning and installation due to the tight location.
As always, our team worked hard throughout planning and execution to ensure we delivered a safe and efficient access system to help guide the project to success.
