Do your rental fees include delivery?

Rental rates do not include delivery or pick-up of the rental gear. We do offer delivery, installation, or pick-up services at competitive rates. Each of our locations has a dedicated fleet of specialized trucks for safe equipment transport, rates do vary by location.

Do you rent gear by the day or the week?

The minimum rental period is 28 days. After this period, rental is pro-rated daily.

How do you process rentals that exceed 28 days?

If you would like to keep your rental gear longer than 28 days, your rental is prorated daily after the initial 28-day period. For example, if your total rental was $168 for 28 days, you would be billed an additional $6 per day that you kept the rental.

Do I need an account to rent equipment?

Cash sale purchases do not require an account set up. ALL RENTALS require a Cash on Demand (COD) account set up, which means filling in the credit card application, providing a credit card and driver’s license which we keep on file. It’s a simple process and only takes a few minutes to complete. Setting up an account with Northstar is always an option which offers a 30-day term based on approved credit.

Do you offer emergency after hour services?

Each of our locations offer emergency after hour services, please discuss this with one of our scaffolding specialists when we are setting up your job.

Do you offer engineering services?

Yes, we do! Our team includes Professionally Licensed Civil/Structural Engineers with the expertise to bring safe and efficient scaffolding solutions to any project.

How do I get a quote for installation?

Are you open Saturdays and Sundays?

Although our office hours are Monday to Friday, each of our locations can accommodate most project schedules by providing our services on the weekend if needed.

What are your order desk hours?

Burnaby – 8:00 am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Campbell River/ Victoria– 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Ottawa – 8:00 am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Toronto – 8:00am -3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Winnipeg – 8:00 am to 4:00, Monday to Friday

Do you rent to homeowners or do it yourselfers?

Our rental department covers every type of job, including homeowners doing renovations or repairs. Use this contact form to get in touch with one of our team members who can work with you to get the right solution for your project.

Do you rent garbage chutes?

We do! Clear large volumes of debris directly into containers. Our debris chutes can be used from buildings of all heights. Learn more about our Garbage Chutes.

Do you sell and/or install shrink wrapping?

Yes, we offer sales and installation for our shrink wrap products. Our enclosure products include Monarflex, Shrink Wrap, and the Sail System. Do you sell scaffold netting?

Do you rent swing stages? Do you offer maintenance and repair services for swing stages?

Yes, we have a full line of swing stages to offer. Our swing stage equipment is available for both rent and sale. We also provide maintenance and repair for Tractel and Power Climber swing stage motors.
