Northstar Access was retained to provide worker access to 100% of the building façade while maintaining full access to all egresses. This included the loading dock and main “round-about” entrance while also protecting the oversized glass canopy. To achieve this, Northstar utilized multiple custom designed swing stage setups suspended from a combination of temporary outrigger beams and davit arms. At the ground level, keeping the loading dock operational for its daily deliveries and pickups was a priority for our client and building management. Northstar successfully provided a solution that allowed full access for transport trucks and minimized the loss of parking spaces while also maintaining safe passage for pedestrians and building residents.
