Northstar Scaffold (Ontario) Inc. was retained to supply, install, and dismantle  engineered scaffolding access to the weather beacon on top of the landmark building in downtown Toronto. At approximate 42’ high and 20 stories above ground level, our crews created a 15′ x 15′ x 40′ access scaffold around the entire weather beacon. 

The building is a heritage site, which caused some complications for the design and installation of the scaffold. Preserving the building and avoiding any alterations to the exterior of the building, meant that the team to use tie-off points on the roof to secure the scaffold with safety cables. Other than some scheduling issues, due to severe weather, the project was installed quite easily.
