As Northstar’s Diversity Committee, our goal is to share information and resources on important diversity and inclusivity topics. We believe that acknowledging and bringing attention to these topics is the first step in growth, improvement, and most importantly – Making Changes!
Since the creation of this Committee, we are proud to share that we’ve spread awareness on important diversity and inclusivity topics through events, fundraising, newsletters, the creation of a free lending library that celebrates all cultures. We’ve also worked hard to implement our diversity floater day.
Our diversity floater day offers all employees to feel ‘included’ and recognized. It gives them the opportunity to observe their cultural and religious holidays without using their PTO entitlements.
