Winnipeg’s Trusted Scaffold Provider Northstar Scaffold merged with Russ Dilworth Scaffold in 2015, a Toronto-based access solutions provider. Throughout its history, the Northstar Winnipeg team has been Winnipeg’s Trusted Scaffold Provider and reliable partner to our customers. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality access and scaffold products, industry-leading experience and a dedicated focus on safety. Beginning in 2017, and through into 2021, Northstar has maintained one of Manitoba’s best safety records, being ranked #1 of over 2200 Manitoba companies by the WCB (Industry Code 40102, medium-sized business).

Northstar Scaffold was established in Winnipeg at the turn-of-the-century by George Rajotte. George drew inspiration from his father’s company, Northstar Sandblasting, which he founded in the 1960s. Already operating successful companies in the sandblasting, coatings, concrete restoration and abatement sectors, George knew a scaffold division was the logical extension to his business portfolio.

Shortly after its founding, Northstar Scaffold quickly grew to become one of Manitoba’s premier scaffold and access providers. In 2004, George transitioned local leadership to the capable hands of Kent Johnston. Following Kent’s retirement, Nathan Kuehn became the new branch manager in 2014, who continues to lead and grow this successful branch today.
