2025 Year in Review
A Milestone Year for Northstar Access
As we wrap up 2025, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year filled with growth, momentum, and meaningful milestones. Across Canada, Northstar Access continued to expand our capabilities, strengthen our industry presence, and reaffirm our commitment to safety and service.
Here’s a look back at some of the highlights that made 2025 a standout year for Northstar Access — and a strong launchpad for even more in 2026.
400 Strong and Growing!
This year, we hit a major milestone—Northstar Access is now 400 employees strong! From our yard crews and installers to engineers, sales, and admin staff, each team member plays a vital role in building our culture and delivering top-tier access solutions across the country. Crossing the 400 mark is more than just a number—it’s a reflection of our continued growth, the trust of our clients, and the strength of our team. With new opportunities on the horizon and a growing demand for safe, efficient access, we’ve got our sights set on 500.
New Services & Expanded Equipment
This year, we officially added mast climbers to our national scaffolding solutions options— a major step forward in offering more efficient, height-access solutions for high-rise and industrial work. These systems are already helping crews reduce labour time and increase productivity across several key projects.
Calgary Branch Launch
In 2025, we proudly opened our newest branch in Calgary, expanding our footprint in Western Canada. With a dedicated team on the ground, we’re now even better positioned to serve Alberta’s growing construction, industrial, and infrastructure sectors with responsive support and local inventory.
Industry Engagement: Trade Shows & New Connections
2025 was a big year for us when it came to industry engagement and visibility. In February, we returned for our second year at the Canadian Concrete Expo (CCE) in Toronto — connecting with contractors, engineers, and industry leaders from across the country. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and we’ve already committed to returning in 2026 with an even larger footprint and broader scope, reinforcing our role as a go-to access partner for the concrete and infrastructure sectors.
We also made our debut at a major roofing tradeshow, The Canadian Roofing Expo, in Toronto, marking a new chapter in how we engage with roofing professionals. It was a great opportunity to showcase our temporary roof systems, edge protection products, and weather enclosures, while building new relationships in a growing market segment.
Welcoming Altitude to the Northstar Family
One of our most exciting milestones was the acquisition of Altitude Equipment, a trusted name in Toronto’s swing stage access industry for decades. This strategic addition strengthens our presence in the GTA and brings even more expertise, resources, and customer relationships under the Northstar banner.
ISO Certification Achieved
In 2025, Northstar Access achieved ISO certification, a globally recognized standard for quality and operational excellence. This certification reflects our commitment to continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards across our operations.
EPSCA Membership
We’re also proud to have become a member of EPSCA (Electrical Power Systems Construction Association) — deepening our ties to the industrial sector and reinforcing our readiness to support large-scale power, utility, and infrastructure projects across Ontario and beyond.
